Our smartphone app is protected via the same, extremely secure technology used in our online services, Home'Bank and Business'Bank. You use your bank card, card reader and Home'Bank or Business'Bank password to create a profile. And a 6-digit code known only by you makes your accounts extra secure.

ING guarantees maximum security for its mobile apps, which includes when using Apple's Touch ID. Touch ID makes it very easy to log into our smartphone app. However, you will still need your profile code to make payments and access other features of the app.

Moreover, you eliminate the risk of fraud via phishing, since it is impossible to pass on your fingerprint to anyone else.

We recommend not letting anyone else use Touch ID on your iPhone. Every registered fingerprint will completely unlock your phone, including the ING Smart Banking app.

There is a daily transfer limit on payments to your saved beneficiaries and other accounts. The total amount depends on the type of transaction and whether you created your profile via Home'Bank or Business'Bank.

Delete your profile immediately via Home'Bank and/or Business'Bank. You can also call our help desk on +32 2 464 60 04 or go to an ING branch. One of our employees will gladly help you delete your profile.
